Yes. Book two or more one-off services together and get 10% off. Book a gutter clear and a fascia and soffit wash together and we also clean the windows once for free. The 10% discount applies to one-off services booked together.

We mostly use water-fed poles with purified water, which reach high windows and rooflines safely from the ground, and use ladders only where they are needed. We also use gutter vacuums and a mobile elevated platform where the job needs them, and all our uniformed staff are professionally trained and fully qualified in health and safety.

Driveway and patio cleaning starts from £99. The exact price comes from photos, based on the size of the area, the surface and how much moss and dirt has built up, and you get it before anything is booked. Booked with another one-off service, it gets 10% off.

Yes. We pressure wash patios, garden paths, steps and decking as well as driveways, and they are priced the same way, from photos. Send a photo and we will price it with the rest of the job.

Block paving (including tumbled block and herringbone), resin and resin-bound drives, imprinted concrete, tarmac, plain concrete and brick paths and edging. Softer surfaces such as resin, imprinted concrete and tarmac get a gentler clean than block paving, so nothing is loosened or marked.

Yes. Natural stone such as Indian sandstone is cleaned gently, and porcelain is cleaned with care around the joints. Concrete and riven slabs are cleaned too.

A look over the area and a sweep of loose debris, then moss, algae and dirt are cleaned out of the surface and the joints. We finish with a full rinse, including nearby walls, steps and the pavement edge, and check the result with you.

Yes. Washing can lift some of the jointing sand, so we offer re-sanding with kiln-dried sand after cleaning. Ask for it when you get your quote.

Oil stains are assessed case by case and steam cleaned. Send a photo of the stain and we will tell you honestly what to expect.

No, as long as we can get to the area and an outside tap. Please move cars, bins and pots off the drive or patio before we arrive.

Sand blown off the beach settles into block paving joints and holds moisture, which lets moss and weeds root. Shaded paving stays damp for longer, and salt from windy days leaves a dull film on concrete and slabs. A proper clean brings the colour back and makes paving less slippery underfoot.

Gutter clearing costs £100 for a 2-bed, £120 for a 2/3-bed semi or 4-bed semi, £140 for a 3/4-bed detached and £160 for a 5-bed detached. Bigger or unusual buildings are priced on survey.

Washing the fascias, soffits and gutter fronts costs the same as a gutter clear: £100 to £160 by house size. On a 2/3-bed semi or 4-bed semi it is £120.

A gutter clear deals with the inside: leaves, moss and silt are vacuumed out so rainwater reaches the downpipes. A roofline wash cleans the outside of the fascias, soffits and gutter fronts. They are separate jobs at the same price, so a gutter clear is not included in a roofline wash.

10% on the pair, and we clean the windows once for free on top. For example, a 3/4-bed detached house pays £252 instead of £280, and a 2/3-bed semi pays £216.

No. Gutters are emptied with a high-reach gutter vacuum worked from the ground, and the roofline is washed with water-fed poles. Ladders or an access tower are used only where a pole cannot reach, such as over a conservatory or a tight side passage.

Cleaning white uPVC fascias, soffits and gutters costs £100 to £160 by house size. uPVC window frames and sills are wiped on every regular window clean at no extra charge.

Yes. We reseal leaking joints, replace brackets, realign sagging gutters, replace damaged sections, unblock downpipes and fit gutter guards. Every repair is quoted individually: see gutter repairs.

Yes. Blocks of flats, shops and other commercial buildings are priced individually after we have looked at the building. Call 01255 762761 to arrange a quote.

Roof cleaning starts from £800. Every roof is different, so each one is priced on survey. Call 01255 762761 to book a survey, or start in the instant quote.

No. We never pressure wash roofs. Moss and dirt are removed by hand and with steam, choosing the method to suit the tiles, so tiles are not damaged.

Roof moss can cause leaks where it grows under tiles, damage during freeze and thaw cycles because of the water it holds, and blocked gutters and downpipes. It also attracts insects and birds and makes a mess of the ground around your home.

Yes, it is worth it. Moss from the roof ends up in the gutters, so a gutter clear (£100 to £160 by house size) is worth booking with it, and two one-off services get 10% off.

Conservatory roof cleaning costs £80 for a 2-bed, £90 for a 2/3-bed semi, £110 for a 3/4-bed detached and £130 for a 5-bed detached home.

We clean from top to bottom: the roof, the glazing bars and the uPVC frames, the gutters and downspouts, and we check the fixings and seals.

Yes. We clean glass, polycarbonate and uPVC roofs, taking care with older polycarbonate, which scratches easily.

No. We use a pure water-fed pole to reach most of the roof from the ground, with no harsh chemicals.

Moss and algae cause unsightly stains and can damage the glazing bars and seals, which increases the chance of leaks. A proper clean lets the light come flooding back in.

We charge £8 a panel on systems of up to 16 panels and £7 a panel on 17 to 25, so a typical 10-panel roof costs £80. Systems of 26 panels or more, including commercial roofs, are priced on survey.

25 panels cost £175 at £7 a panel. Anything above 25 panels is quoted individually.

Every six to twelve months suits most homes. Near the coast, salt and gull droppings build up faster, so panels close to the sea may need cleaning at the shorter end of that range.

Rain alone does not shift the film of dust, pollen and bird mess that builds up on panels, especially on shallow roof pitches. Anything sitting on the glass blocks light from the cells.

No. We use soft brushes and purified water only, with no soaps, detergents or pressure washers, which will not scratch the glass or leave a film.

Yes. Solar panel cleaning counts as a one-off service, so booking it with a roof clean, gutter clear or any other one-off service gets 10% off.

Yes. Larger systems on business roofs are priced on survey once we have checked the size and access.

Regular window cleaning costs £19 every 6 weeks or £25 every 12 weeks for a 3-bed semi or smaller, rising to £33 or £49 for a 5-bed detached. Houses with fewer than 3 bedrooms use the 3-bed semi prices, as these are our minimum prices, and the first clean is £10 extra.

Every 6 or every 12 weeks on our regular rounds. We also do one-off window cleans.

They take longer: the first clean and a 12 weekly clean need extra time to bring the windows, frames and doors up to standard. Even though the 12 weekly price per visit is higher, you pay less over a year: a 3-bed semi costs about £165 a year on the 6 weekly round and about £108 on the 12 weekly round.

Adding the conservatory windows costs £5 to £13 a visit and an extension £5 to £11 a visit, depending on the size of the house. Both are shown on the price cards on our pricing page.

Regular window cleaning rounds are run by our sister company, DB Window Cleaning Services, which has town-by-town details and booking for regular rounds.

We use pure filtered and deionised water on a carbon fibre telescopic pole with a soft brush, then rinse the glass. The pure water is left to dry naturally, without leaving watermarks, and the system needs no soap.

Rarely. The reach and wash system reaches up to 65 feet from the ground, so we mostly clean from the ground with water-fed poles and use ladders only where they are needed.

Yes, we can normally clean hard to reach windows safely from the ground: if we can see the window, we can normally clean it. A long conservatory or extension may restrict access to some windows.

Yes. Glass, frames, sills, doors and door frames are cleaned on every visit. Water and dirt can sometimes run out from the gap between the window and the sill after we leave; this does not mean the sill was not cleaned, and the trapped dirt washes out over time.

If your door is an original wooden door with no threshold or weather strip at the bottom, we wipe it down with a damp cloth so pure water does not run under it. If a door is in poor repair, we may not clean it at all.

Your windows, frames and sills should be clean. If your last window cleaner used soapy water, or the windows have not been cleaned for a long time, you may see a few spots as the pure water draws out old soap and dirt from the frames. This is normal, and after the second clean your windows should be sparkling.

Yes. We can add your garage door and frame to your window clean for £3 for a single garage door or £5 for a double. Just let us know.

Yes. Internal window cleaning is a bespoke service, so please contact us for a price.

Yes. Commercial window cleaning is priced individually, with flexible working hours. See commercial window cleaning.

No. There is no contract to sign; all we ask is that you have at least two window cleans with us. You can cancel at any time after that.

Carpet and upholstery cleaning is done by FIBRE & CO., the carpet and upholstery brand of DB Professional Services, for homes and businesses across Clacton-on-Sea, Colchester and Essex.

Up to 2 rooms costs £82 on the Essential package, £122 on Signature and £162 on Ultimate. Extra rooms, stairs and landings are priced in the instant quote.

Upholstery is priced per seat: £30 on Essential, £36 on Signature and £51 on Ultimate.

The office is open 9.00am to 5.00pm, and we clean from 7.30am to 6.00pm.

We do not give appointments or arrival times for regular window cleaning, and your clean can fall on any day of the week between 7.30am and 6.00pm. Just leave your gate unlocked for the day.

Yes. We send an automatic text reminder the evening before we are due, around 7pm. If you have not had a text reminder the evening before, we may not have you down for that day.

Our regular rounds are approximately 6 or 12 weekly, and holidays, sick leave and extreme weather can affect the schedule. Your second clean may be early because we have moved you into the right place on the round, and we optimise the rounds at the end of each year, so please allow some flexibility.

Not always. Because of holidays, sick leave and round planning, any of our window cleaners may attend, so that we can keep to your regular 6 or 12 weekly visits.

We clean the windows we can reach, and full price is charged per visit. Contact us to book a rear window clean and we will come back at our cost once there is access, with the usual text reminder the evening before.

We can offer a fronts only clean. For insurance reasons we cannot climb fences or run hoses through your house, but we can go through a garage if there is a clear route to the back.

Yes. Let the office know before you go and you will not be charged for the missed clean. Because we work on a round, it can be hard to reschedule for when you get back, as we may not be in your area.

Yes. If it rained while we cleaned your windows and you feel the finish is not right, contact us to book a free reclean under our rain guarantee.

By card or Direct Debit, for regular and one-off services. Nothing is taken when you book through the instant quote.

By Direct Debit through GoCardless. We request payment only after your clean has been completed, and you are notified in advance. You can also pay by card on the day or ask the cleaner.

No. Payment is requested after each completed clean, not monthly. You get an email when the work is done, and the payment comes out of your account within the next 3 to 5 days.

No. Payment is only ever taken after a clean has been completed, so if your windows are not cleaned for any reason, such as building work or a holiday, nothing is taken and you do not need to cancel your Direct Debit.

Yes. The same Direct Debit can pay for one-off services such as pressure washing, gutter cleaning and roof cleaning.

Yes. GoCardless is ISO 27001 accredited and authorised by the UK Financial Conduct Authority as an Authorised Payment Institution, and your payments are protected by the Direct Debit Guarantee.

Yes. You can cancel the Direct Debit mandate at any time, for example through your online banking, which stops future payments immediately. Under the Direct Debit Guarantee you are entitled to a full refund for any payment taken in error.

Yes. DB Professional Services is fully insured, including liability insurance, and SafeContractor accredited (VX5402).

We have been trading since 2018 and are based at 23 Dahlia Close, Clacton-on-Sea.

Yes. Every window clean has a 48 hour guarantee: if you are not 100% satisfied, contact us and we will come back and clean again for free. A call-out charge may apply if we find the dirt is on the inside of the windows or inside a failed double glazed unit.
